Hello
I'm a new ansys'user.
I'm working with hyperelasticity materials (elastomers)and I haven't any materials code. I would like to know how do you do for have: internet, handbook?...For have mooney rivlin code?
Regards

RE: material code

Unfortunately you will rapidly find that either you have your own source of experimental data (laboratories, etc...) or you will have great problems in finding this kind of data !!! Depending on the rubber type you deal with, a good resource could be www.polymerfem.com
Also DSM's website is full of info but doesn't cover all possible material, of course.
If you can have uniaxial test data (better is having also biaxial + hydrostatic test data) you can use the Curve Fit in ANSYS to calculate the M-R constants for you.
I'm also interested on this subject, I'm looking for NBR-70 data or constitutive law coefficients; could you keep me informed, if you find something that seems useful?

Claudio
