Damage Curves

Can anyone tell me where I can find the electrical cable damage curves ?

RE: Damage Curves

If you have a software like SKM or ESDA for short circuit and coordination study, it should contain damage curves almost all common cable type and sizes.

Failing that contact one or two good cable manufactures and they should be able to provide you the same. Also try visiting websites.

I do not know, but some publications may have damage curves for generic (most common) cables.

We use etap but it is missing some of the damage curves. I know one of the IEEE standards has generic damage curves in it but I do not remember which one.

RE: Damage Curves

Try okonite.com
Look under engineering technical data and then short circuit currents adn then conductor data.
