Piston Transmitter

Piston Transmitter

Piston Transmitter

(OP)
I'm going to change conventional barrier fluid reservoir(API PLAN 53A) with piston transmitter(PLAN 53C)for Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbine seals. Stuffing box pressure is 840psig and reservoir pressure rating is 3000# as per HPRT vapor pressure of 2759psig. Vendor designed the piston transmitter with same condition of mechanical seal and hydrotested at 1278psig. Could anybody tell me is it safe to install and run the piston teransmitter?

Thanks in advance.
