Looking for info regarding Workflow, BOM, multi site replication, document linking, price, Viewing/redlining capabilities - for:

Synergis Adept
AutoManager Meridan
DBWorks
Conisio

I know these have been discussed before in the past but I'm looking for update to date info.

RE: PDM Info needed

I have used Synergis Adept for a company I used to work for and was very impressed with the way it handles Solidworks files along with 300 other file formats. I showed the program's cababilities to my present employer and they were blown away by what it can do. We are looking at purchasing the software early next year.

If you call them they would be happy to set-up a webcast and show your company what advantages they can offer.

Best Regards,
Jon

Challenges are what makes life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.

Solidworks 2005 SP3.0

RE: PDM Info needed

I used to use AutoManager and Adept.  Don't remember a whole lot about the former.  But I know Adept had nice viewing (w/ a SW viewer) and redlining capabilities.  Especially if you are looking for a paperless workflow, it is deffinately to your advantage.  We weren't using it to it's full capacity back then, but it seems like it would be very helpfull in a multi-user environment.  Someone else will have to help you out w/ the rest.  Their website has more detailed information about features and pricing.

RE: PDM Info needed

We are currently using DBWorks 2005 and it seems to work great for our needs.  We have about 200 designers and Eng. using it.  We have a sister office in Germany that we share files with ( Replication ) and it works great!!  Very customizable!!
