Zenon/Maytag specs

Zenon/Maytag specs

(OP)
I need to design a residential system with the Zenon manufactured, and Maytag marketed, whole house hollow fiber filters (model 4200 it looks like).  I am having a terrible time getting any kind of detailed technical specifications.  I need things like flow vs pressure drop, max gallons/minute without media damage, etc.  In lieu of the air bubble scrubbing technique the industrial versions of this filter appear to use, these units use a timer to backflush the filter without regard to actual volume filtered.  I would like information to determine if a metered volume flush is safe and appropriate.

I also need to understand the annual testing process.  The installation is not within a thousand miles of the nearest installer. If anyone can send me the PDF of the manual for the 4200 I would greatly appreciate it.  It is about 7MB.

RE: Zenon/Maytag specs

Hi Alternety,

We had Maytag come into our office and give us the spiel on the 4200 a month or two back.  They only provided part of the manual in hardcopy form, and its not the technical part, unforunately.  This link may give you some idea of the specs:

but not everything you need.  I would suggest you email or call Maytag directly, they should be happy to help out a potential client.
