OLE Objects Causing Drawing To Crash

OLE Objects Causing Drawing To Crash

OLE Objects Causing Drawing To Crash

(OP)
I am using CAD 2000.  I am cutting and pasting cells from an excel spreadsheet into my CAD drawing.  The cells go in as an OLE object.  If I paste the cells onto sheet 2, the outline of the OLE shows up on sheet 1 as well.  If I delete the object from sheet 1, it causes my drawing to crash.  I am currently making the OLE's not selectable and that keeps them from displaying on other sheets.  Any advice on what is going on would be appreciated.

RE: OLE Objects Causing Drawing To Crash

We have had some issues with ACAD 2002 and OLE objects. Are you running latest OS service packs and latest ACAD packs?
