Cyclone boiler slag flow enhancers

(OP)
We have to blend 50% eastern coal in a cyclone fired boiler in order to keep the slag taps clear.  We would like to convert to 100% PRB and are looking at flux technologies to drop the fusion temperatures to keep the slag taps open.  What technologies are available.  I have heard of iron oxide fluxing agents and borate based products blended in the coal or blown into the furnace.  Any resources would be useful.  I really have no background in this technology and basics would be appreciated.

RE: Cyclone boiler slag flow enhancers

Do you have B&W's "Steam 40th edition"?

If you do chapter 20 can tell you how these fluxing agents work on altering the t250 temperature.
