Continuous cast iron pieces cleaning system- tumbling

Continuous cast iron pieces cleaning system- tumbling

(OP)

Hi all the comunity
I have a problem to solve urgently .
I need to remove the  carbon material adherent  on cast iron pieces , I know the shot blast process but our client don't like this process  due to the hight cost of maintenance for this machine.
They whish have a simply process without any consumable material  and  with a ligth cost of maintenance!!!
the rating load is 4 metric tons / hour with apparent density  2mt/m3.
I think we can use the principle of the collision between the thimbles into the drum. This action separates the carbon from the iron. The residues are discharged through small
oppenings along the surface of the drum, and the thimbles through the opposite side of the entrance. This is a continuous process, so there is no a storage silo for dirty thimbles, they are fed and discharge by means of belts
conveyors.

But I haven't any supplyers of this equipment , can you help me , it is very important  for us .

Thanks

Bilou ( mechanical eng.)
