Assembly Trasnference
Assembly Trasnference
(OP)
Version : Pro/E 2001
Say I have a big assembly with many sub-assemblies. I by mistake assemble components to the main final assembly, but it is supposed to be in a lower level assembly (sub-assembly of the same big assembly). So is there any way in Pro/E by which I can transfer all the components from the highest level (main complete assembly) to the lower level of same main assembly after being assembled. Expecting some inputs.... thanks, Raj.

RE: Assembly Trasnference
Here you go copied from the Pro/e 2001 help file: Keyword Restructure
Pro/PROCESS for ASSEMBLIES
The optional Pro/PROCESS for ASSEMBLIES module enables you to create explode states in assemblies to define the exploded position of all components. Working with Assemblies. To work with an assembly, use the File menu to open or create an assembly file. The ASSEMBLY menu displays the following options:
• Component—Manipulates assembly components (using the COMPONENT menu).
• Feature—Manipulates assembly features (using the ASSY FEAT menu).
• Modify—Modifies assembly or component dimensions and features (using the ASSEM MOD and MODIFY menus).
• Restructure—Modifies assembly groupings, moving components from one assembly or subassembly to another (using the RESTRUCTURE menu).

RE: Assembly Trasnference
Use the RESTRUCTURE feature in Assembly Mode. You may have to REDEFINE the items after, since you are rerouting references.
