title block - title on 2 lines?

title block - title on 2 lines?

title block - title on 2 lines?

(OP)
Ok so I have the dspcription on my part linked to my title block.  Now the space on the sheet is pretty large. But my Description is too long, and it won't quite fit on a single line. Is there a clever way to get my description on two lines? If not I'm thinking of creating three lines, Description 1, 2 and 3. And then typing the name in that way.

Seems a little lame though.

RE: title block - title on 2 lines?

Hi, MMike1:

I use "comments" property (in drawing documents) to store drawing "Description".  As far as I know, "comments" is only property that allows you to used multiple lines text.

2006 will allow text wrapping finally. Doesn't help you now, but it's something to plan for.

RE: title block - title on 2 lines?

Here is one way. Use line feed - Keep your ALT button pressed down while typing 0010 with the number pad and release.

Chancey, good tip. But, will not wrap text.
