Thank you very much, I am reviewing the website you indicated and read them carefully. I just hope you might have information on slip on also. Is the bellow type more useful in refinery  application?

Thank you.

Be aware that the suppliers of mechanical expansion devices (bellows etc.) are interested in selling ($) you there device – which may be necessary due to space limitations etc. These devices may require periodic maintenance ($).

Expansion pipe loops might be less expensive and should require no maintenance – if you have the room.

I was hoping you would have something in Br. Units instead of Metric. Thank you.

RE: Expansion Joint Calculation for Oil Refinery Piping Process

MonicaLee, your question, “I would like to know if anyone deal with CS Pipe Expansion Joint Calculation before,” is a bit vague.

1.    What type of expansion joint?
2.    What specifically are you trying to calculate?
3.    Thermal expansion in a piping system that is to be accommodated by an expansion joint?
4.    Anchor loadings resulting from expansion joints installation?
5.    Guide requirements for expansion joints?
6.    Cyclic life of expansion joints?
7.    Stress in an expansion joint bellows?
8.    Why Br. units instead of metrics?
9.    Do you have a problem with unit conversions?

Can you be specific with your question?
