Export pro-e drawing to autocad layers

Export pro-e drawing to autocad layers

(OP)
Greetings, we produce product drawings in pro-e and export them to autocad for my manufacturing plants. At my plant, they use a standard layering scheme with specific naming conventions. Is it possible to configure pro-e to export layers to a different format that does not include standard pro-e names. ex. dxf_axis ..... etc

RE: Export pro-e drawing to autocad layers

Yes,

In config.pro, use your naming convention, See the example below:

def_layer layer_datum PLANES
def_layer layer_csys CSYS
def_layer layer_axis AXES
def_layer layer_point POINTS
def_layer layer_curve CURVES
def_layer layer_surface SURFACES
def_layer layer_note NOTES
def_layer layer_dwg_table TABLES
def_layer layer_gtol GTOLS

and so on.
