INSERTOBJ - How to control viewed area?
(OP)
Hi,
I'm inserting an excel worksheet into my drawing to create a parts schedule using the INSERTOBJ command to insert a linked object. Sometimes when I do this, I can only see a part of the worksheet in the display. The grips on the inseted object only scale it, rather than act as a "viewport" to see clipped areas of the source file. Is there a way to control the viewed area?
thanks in advance,
sundemon

Could you clarify how you hide parts of the worksheet? I have a set printable area in the source excel file, and sometimes the inserted object shows the whole worksheet and sometimes not. Sorry if this is basic to the more experienced users, but how do you define the viewable area in your acad dwg?
