2 questions,

is it possible to do a "batch" or "bulk" check in for legacy drawings into the PDM client? if so how?

and my last question is as a vault administrator when adding projects, is it possible to add sub-project? if so how?

RE: PDMworks 2005 help wanted

Hi emc,

It is only possible to bulk check in drawings though Vault admin. There is an option "Create/use subprojects for subfolders" tick it to automatically add sub projects.

Regards

RE: PDMworks 2005 help wanted

Hi EMC,
When we did our bulk check-in, all of the files I checked in as "owner" changed the "drawn by" in our title block to my login name. Same with my coworkers. Don't know if this is a problem with PDM, or an error in the macro that runs our title block info. Has any other PDM user had this problem?
Yanceman.

Check PDMW help for "bulk" and "project". Admin can setup how you like PDMW to work at your co.
