Low Roller Bearing Help

Low Roller Bearing Help

Low Roller Bearing Help

(OP)
Great forum!
I'm looking for a low-profile angular-contact roller bearing. ID app 2" and heaight around 1/4". The bearing will expereience light axial and radial loads and must be low cost. Precision isn't critical. So far all I have found is higher cost ($120 +) bearings.

Thought of machining a bushing but the small rotating platform will be driven by a low torque stepper so low friction is important.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
JB

RE: Low Roller Bearing Help

Light radial and axial loads- would a simple deep groove ball bearing do the job cheaper?

I am not sure but I would think those (deep groove ball bearings) are more of a high-volume low-cost commodity item than angle-contact bearings.
