PNEUMATIC CONVEYOR FAN

(OP)
Hi. Anybody know what is the best shape of blade for a centrifugal fan that convey solids minuscle particles, less than 200 microns, specificly PVC resin. What shape has the best performance? In what web page I get information about it?
Thanks.

RE: PNEUMATIC CONVEYOR FAN

All our large blowers are Hoffman and the small ones are of the roots type.  I don’t know the cut off point on the capacity.  The Hoffman blowers have been blowing since the plant was built in 1952. I think I saw one being repaired in my tenure.   We covey both plastic particles and  powdered chemicals by the tons.

GD has good cross section of both types.  They did have a very good technical support group.
