I have a very large assy in catia V5R13. Is there a way to expand all assemblies/subassemblies and export the tree as text. I am creating a model archive dwg. and need to show a tree of them on the face of the dwg along with an iso view.
Thanks

RE: specification tree

How about Bill of Material... from the Analyze pull down menu?
You can customize the Report Listing then save it as .txt or .xls.  If you rename the .txt to .csv you can create a Table from CSV in the Drafting Workbench.

RE: specification tree

You can also save the CATProduct of your assembly as a .txt File.

File / Save as... / Choose .txt as export format.

Fabien
