But the menu is de-activated in my case. Can anyone please let me know how to activate that option (Tools -> Macros -> Visual Basic Editor).

RE: Activating Visual Basic Editor option...(alt+F11) action

What release?  We found a problem at R10 thru 12 where Uninstalling older versions of CATIA would un-register VB from CATIA.  You need to either hack the registry (I don't rememeber the settings) or re-install CATIA.

RE: Activating Visual Basic Editor option...(alt+F11) action

Jim,
Do you thing instead of re-installing V5 that running cnext /regserver would work??

RE: Activating Visual Basic Editor option...(alt+F11) action

Nope.  Didn't work.  It's not the registry settings of CATIA that are messed up.  It's the registry stettings of VB that went bad.

RE: Activating Visual Basic Editor option...(alt+F11) action

Come to think of it, in our case, the Admin could access the editor every time. We finally figured out that having the Admin Log onto the box, firing up the editor, and logging off of the box fixed it completely for everyone else using that workstation.
