Sampling for mechanical testing of Flanges 32"

Sampling for mechanical testing of Flanges 32"

Sampling for mechanical testing of Flanges 32"

(OP)
I have to establish if it is sufficient the sampling for mechanical testing taken from one separate forged test blanks only valid for Blind and Welding neck flanges 32" or are necessary two different test blanks.
Forged ordered according to ASTM A105 and ASTM A350.
In case are necessary two test Blanks where is clearly indicated on ASTM standards?

RE: Sampling for mechanical testing of Flanges 32"

Astm A105 only required tension test per cast/heat treatment Batch, so if they are the same heat code and heat treated at same time one test blank should be sufficient provided it is heat treated at same time and conditions.
