Can you help me to find a fire pump manufacturer who provides a pump with two drivers on the same shaft like electric motor and diesel engine?

RE: fire pump with two drivers on the smae shaft for redundnacy

NFPA 20 has not permitted dual-engine fire pumps since 1974.  So you may have difficulties finding one.

Best to look for an UNLISTED pump if that is what you want.

ladengr,

Pklease provide more details.....is new component part of a fire protection system ?

Patterson Pump (http://www.pattersonpumps.com/ ) has been able to provide NFPA-24 designs for many, many different installations....I would start there

Have you considered "used" NFPA-24 pumps ? Would these suit your purpose ?

There seems to be a great many offered on the internet ....

Come back with your final decision...

MJCRONIN:

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I found the ITT dual drive firepump, works either with deisel engine or ac motor.
