Heat Rejection Form Acid Gas Burner/Reaction Furnace

Heat Rejection Form Acid Gas Burner/Reaction Furnace

Heat Rejection Form Acid Gas Burner/Reaction Furnace

(OP)
The building where the burner/reactor is located inside a building and there is insufficient ventilation. The ladders on the upper platform around the burner practically burn the hands. I need to determine an estimate for the amount of heat rejected from the furnace so then I can determine an estimate for the number of air changes per hour. I have found some correlations to determine heat rejection for motors and compressors based upon Hp and efficiency but I'm not sure what to do for the burner/furnace.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks
David
