Methanol Plant Liquidation

Methanol Plant Liquidation

Methanol Plant Liquidation

(OP)
Can anyone let me know what one mighy expect in the way of a percentage of original cost on dismantling and liquidating a chemical facility. Theoretically speaking, much of the cost is associated with direct and indirect costs and cost associated with assets that carry little value such as piping, wiring etc. If anyone has been involved in anything like this let me know.

You might contact Federal Equipment, or Aaron Equipment, or Perry Videx.  They buy and sell used plants and equipment.  They can probably give you a good idea.  If you are going to auction the plant off in pieces I would say you will get between 10 to15 cents on the dollar compared to what you paid.

Good Luck
