Dangling dimensions on drawing

Dangling dimensions on drawing

Dangling dimensions on drawing

(OP)
When I make some changes to the part model, several of the dimensions on the drawing become dangling. At least I think they do, because they change color. I am not sure what to do about them. The dimensions are the same value, but I have to delete them  and put them back in so that they change to black.

The dimensions were not inserted from the model, but were added to the drawing. That might be the reason for it. I am wondering if there is any harm in just leaving them as dangling, or if there is an easier way to fix them. Thanks.

RE: Dangling dimensions on drawing

You can reattach the leader lines by pick the leader line and moving it close to the each it was originally attached to....then it should be "healed"
