Obsolete Fluorescent Lamps

Obsolete Fluorescent Lamps

Obsolete Fluorescent Lamps

(OP)
A while back I had heard a rumor that one of the styles of fluoresecnt lamps was going to become obsolete in the near future.  (T8 or T12)  Does anyone know any facts about this?

Thanks for the help.

RE: Obsolete Fluorescent Lamps

From experience I know that T8's are being used much more than T12's.  You get more bang for the buck with T8's.  I'm not sure that T12's are going obsolete.  That could many many years as so many fixtures still use them.
