Control Logix analog inputs

(OP)
Hello all.
I want to ask if i can mix single-ended and differential analog input signals in one Control Logix analog input card.
When i tried to do this in an SLC analog input card i had very much noise that dissapeared when disconnecting the differential inputs.
Thanks in advance fro your time.

RE: Control Logix analog inputs

panou,

If you are using a 1756-IF8 or 1756-IF16 analog module, you can not mix single-ended and differential modes.  All channels on the module must be wired and configured the same way.

Reference Rockwell Automation publication 1756-UM009B-EN-P for everything you need to know about ControlLogix analog modules.  Find it at the link below.

(Expand the "I/O" group and select the 1756 ControlLogix I/O link).
