V5 multiselect

Here is one that everyone but me knows, I'm sure.
In my model I have surfaces, lines, curves, points, etc.
How do I pick all the curves, for example, in order to no-show?
In v4 it's *crv, but of course Dassault had to change it for v5.

Thanks for the response, but I'm not sure what you mean.  What I expect to see is a pull-down somewhere, that lets me select 'all curves' or something to that effect.

RE: V5 multiselect

You can do that. Control+F or Edit->Search.

Search by type.

The *.curve command works from the power-input box at the bottom right of your CATIA window. Type it in an hit enter.

RE: V5 multiselect

I'd like to add to what Lee suggested:

1. Use TOOLS+SHOW (or TOOLS+HIDE) and then you can choose which element type to hide.  TOOLS+HIDE+GEOMETRIC SET will no-show everything but the solid

2. In the lower-right corner of the CATIA window, click in the white box (power input), and key-in: t=curve  This will search and select all elements types that are "curve"

3. As Lee said, use EDIT+SEARCH for all the search commands (more than V4) and save them as your favorites
