Sip panels and OSB

I am in the middle of the design process on my new residential home.  I was considering going with Thermocore Sip panels, but the OSB construction has me questioning if this is a good choice or not.  Here in the Kansas City Metro area the weather tends to waunder all over the map, high humidity, no humidity, very cold to very hot.  Should I consider a different structural content?

RE: Sip panels and OSB

Your best course of action is to ask the company that makes Thermocore.

Thanks, Thermocore is manufactured here in the locale area.  My concern is based on the OSB threads on this forum.  I was just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with the SIP products manufactured with OSB.

RE: Sip panels and OSB

I would contact them to see if they have an ICC Evaluation Report. It can tell you most of the information you may have concerns about. I have previously designed with Permier Sandwich Panels (ICC PFC-5002) and it worked out rather well. That was for New Mexico and the seismic and wind requirements were usually taken care of with the allowable values in the code report. The header depths required were also easy to do according to the report.

Check with them to see what information they may have to help you out. I couldn't find much on thier web site, it was mostly sale information.
