KME Fire Tuck Turning Radii

KME Fire Tuck Turning Radii

(OP)
Has anyone designed fire truck access for a KME Custom Pumper Fire Truck?  I am using Autoturn and can create a vehicle but need the technical info (Wall to Wall radii or Curb to Curb radii and such) to ensure our design works.  I have tried contacting many KME sales reps in the hopes they would at least point me in the right direction to no avail.

Thanks,
D

RE: KME Fire Tuck Turning Radii

I haven't designed for a KME specific truck but I have for Emergency One or E-One and American La France.  Both manufacturers give the specifications for the trucks on-line so you can put them right in AutoTURN.

I looked at KME's web site but the only thing I could find on specs only covered the cab and not the overall truck.

You may have better luck, just going to the fire station and asking if you can see their specs for the truck, or use a measureing wheel and walk it off.

I have actually done that before for a patroleum tanker.  The driver was full of helpful information, like how he approaches the pumps etc...
