Solidworks Intersection Curve Question

Solidworks Intersection Curve Question

Solidworks Intersection Curve Question

(OP)
Hey all.

I have a surface for a catamaran that I modelled and I have used the intersection curve command to create horizontal sections every 5 inches from the bottom of the hull to the top of the hull. For some reason in the 2D translation of my part, these sketch curves are only visible in the bottom view of the drawing. In the front and side view they are not visible

Is there some rules I'm not aware of in regards to the visibility of sketch geometry in the drawing portion of solid works? It will be difficult for me to do a view of each section if I can't create a section view using the front or side views.

Regards

Dave Shaw

RE: Solidworks Intersection Curve Question

Expand those views in the tree, find the sketches, right click and show them.

good luck

RE: Solidworks Intersection Curve Question

You can force the visibility as Gildashard states, but then all you will see is a horizontal line. Is that what you are after?

Thanks guys. I didn't know you could expand the directory tree in drafting.
