Cost of maintenance software

(OP)
Hello,

Does somebody knows the costs of Rimses, SAP and Maximo software?

RE: Cost of maintenance software

you could ask the companies themselves.  It will be hard to compare the costs unless you have a well defined specification document.  Each one has it's own pros and cons so it's important you define all your requirements in-house.  Look for a program that's flexible, can grow with your needs.  One that you don't have to buy everything at once.  It's like building a house, you can start with the basics, foundation, house, some finished rooms and when you are comfortable with the house up and running, you can add a garage, porch, pool etc.

RE: Cost of maintenance software

Just like Oracle is seen as the cadilac of databases, Sap is the supreme in Enterprise Resource Planning systems. For both you need lots of $$$.
Sap I would consider an accountants control system with a maintenance add-on.
For more information you could take a look at http://maintenanceforums.com

RE: Cost of maintenance software

One thing that is often overlooked:

The cost of the software is usually a third of the overall price of a successful system. Companies need three major things to be successful, whether it's a migration or new install.

1. A budget for professional services for implementatinon likely three times that the cost of the licensing of the software.
2. Executive buy in and a strict policy and governing system
3. A dedicated training schedule after an affective evaluation and configuration test period with key management.

The cost is amlost always relevant to size and need.
