Pressure Transmitter

Pressure Transmitter

Pressure Transmitter

(OP)
Basics: I need to measure the fluid pressure in a 3" pipe and send the signal to a DCS. What would be a good simple pressure transmitter that could easily accomplish this? Is it possible to have an ac power input instead of dc. Most of what I've seen are 4-20ma output, but require a dc power input.

RE: Pressure Transmitter

Take a look at GEMS Sensors.  Some vary reasonably priced units. 24Vdc is so common in the process control industry that you are unlikely to find an AC powered unit.  A DCS is almost always part of a PLC system that should have 24 VDC available.
