We have had to revive our Unigraphics DEC ALPHA Workstaions.
Does any one have the knowledge available to set up printers/plotters?
Thanks!

RE: unigraphics 13 printer/plotter setup

Why?????

Can't you transfer the files to a newer version.
Ug is upward compatable. I have V10 files that I have opened in NX1.

"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

Well, it goes like this. We had UG and now we are stuch with Autodesk Inventor! They stopped UG @ version 14.
So that is why I ask..................

RE: unigraphics 13 printer/plotter setup

Plotter setup in V13 was done with a dedicated IP address of the plotter and then the UGII PlotQueMgr was run with the output being set to the potter IP, I think.

I think we cleaned out all of our pre-v16 manuals a while ago.

If it was like V15 you load printer drivers, share out the printer, and run pqmgr. There are preloaded examples that you can modify.

This was for Windows though.
