simplfd rep by rule

simplfd rep by rule

(OP)
How can I make a simplfd rep by rule in 2001 :

I have a YES/NO , I want to make a simplfd rep by rule that excludes all the parts or subassemblies that have set this parameter to no.
Is this possible.

RE: simplfd rep by rule

Start the SIMP REP, and select BY RULE. In the new window, pick PROPERTIES and EXPRESSION. Enter the parameter name in the left side and the value (YES or NO) in the right side. In your case pick either = or !=.

But for this to work, the parameter MUST exist in all the models. Veryyyy important. Else you get a error message.
