why didn't You break the secret of Your AC-version?
1. ctrl+c-> ctrl+v
2. export the objects as a *.wmf file-> import it into ms-word

I mean, all these steps (white background, select, copy, paste, edit in word etc etc..).
You'd think that someone would come up with a better way, no?

First, some need a colored background, for instance, to add an AutoCAD logo to a colored CD label, and match the background. So that choice is a GOOD thing.
Second, to zoom extents, select a, Ctrl-C, then open Word, start a New document, and hit Ctrl-V took me exactly 20 seconds, and I muffed one part, and had to redo one step. (I never use the Word picture editor -- there is usually no need.)
This is lightning fast compared to anything else we do on computers (involving 2 separate programs)
