Modeling of honeycomb panels, CATIAV5R14

(OP)
Hello again.
I am trying to model honeycomb panels with aluminium material to it.
Is there a way to make a sort of "smaller file" ...

Problem; honeycomb size about 0.188inch wall thichness 0.010inch panel thickness 0.5inch, 13inches X 65inches.  File is mega big when changing parameters values on either one of the above values. It takes forever to update and I have a not too bad workstation. Is there a magical "honeycomb option" somewhere ???

Any particular reason you are modeling the honeycomb? Can't you just put in a black box and assign appropriate custom material properties?

Hello Configurator.
I need to see the stress points at the adherence contact where the epoxy weld will be made/glued.
I was thinking of a flat sketch then thick extruded ?
What do you think ?

Maybe... I find it's best to keep a sketch as simple as possible...

What about a simple pad with a rectangular pattern of pockets?

I would also suggest using a Pattern. They tend to keep the file size quite a bit smaller.
