Large timber panel dome

Large timber panel dome

Large timber panel dome

(OP)
A colleague has a problem and would welcome any experienced advice. He has a large timber dome sports hall - - approx  dia is 120 feet   height 80 feet. not a true dome - - more the shape of the pointed end of an egg. Built from panels of plywood  fixed to  heavy wood sections around the edges- - like flanges - -  which  are then all bolted together. We believe this type is common in USA for storing minerals.
Problem is that after 10 yrs one side is developing a sizeable
and  increasing  flat area. Somehow it needs to be pushed back into shape and then stiffened  so it cannot develop again.

Anyone out there with any experience ??
all advice greatly welcomed.
