SolidWorks Viewer and PDF

SolidWorks Viewer and PDF

SolidWorks Viewer and PDF

(OP)
I have a 3-sheet SW 2005 drawing file. In SW, I can print to the Acrobat Distiller printer driver and get all 3 sheets in a single PDF file.

Another employee here has the SolidWorks Viewer installed so he can see and print native SW drawings. He tried printing the 3-sheet file to the same Distiller driver (installed on network server) and can only ever get one sheet as output, even though his Print Preview shows all 3 and he chooses to print All pages.

Is the Viewer crippled for some reason, or just way too basic for fancy stuff like this?

RE: SolidWorks Viewer and PDF

I have not used it, but my boss uses Acrobat Distiller to create our SolidWorks dwgs on-line. I do not know how he does it, but it creates all sheets together in one PDF file. There must be a setting in Acrobat.

RE: SolidWorks Viewer and PDF

It may be a pain, but you can print each sheet separately to PDF and then use Distiller to combine into a single file.

TheTick ... How do you print each sheet seperately in SW?
