PMDC Motor Conversion

PMDC Motor Conversion

PMDC Motor Conversion

(OP)
I have a 300 watt PMDC Motor that runs with the following profile:
24 VDC
850 RPM
13 Amps
~400 oz-in
8 Pole
32 Slot
The motor is no longer available, but I have found a similar motor that is the following:
36 VDC
2500 RPM
12 Amps
4 Pole
16 Slot
Will it be possible to rewind this armature to achieve similar results to the original motor? If so, what direction should I take as far as wind data?
Efficiency is important in this application, and must be kept as high as possible.

Many Thanks in Advance

The new motor is 350 watt

Wouldn't it be easier to change the drive, so as to accomodate the new motor?

There is no drive in the system. The motor is connected direct to a 24 V battery, via an SSR.
I have very little room to move as far as design changes.
