Colour select in V5

(OP)
For all those ex-V4 people out there is there a way to select all bodies or open body data of a set colour?  As there was in V4, have a mass of surfaces in show all coloured to a grouping format and want to be able to hide all but one colour, does anyone have any ideas?

There are a couple of ways.

From the Tools->Hide menu, you can pick all of a certain type of entity (curves, lines, surfaces, etc.). No colors there.

By clicking Edit->Search (or Control+F), you can specify exactly what you want CATIA to find by selecting Name, Type, Color, Layer, Visibility, and Line Properties (or any combination of the above). (It's also nice to set up "Favorite Searches"). Once you've defined your search, hit the Binoculars icon. The objects found will appear below. Next to OK is a button called Select. This will multiselect all the fount elements.

You can do it with input commands (a'la V4), and the search window is a good way to learn those queries (*.plane, for example).
