Is it permitted more then one longitudinal welds in one shell according to ASME Section VIII Div 2?

If you are ask about fabricating a cylindrical shell section using more than one plate, the answer is YES.

Yes I mean cylindrical shell section using more than one plate.

Just remember to stagger the seams if more than one shell section.
