ADINA pre & post processors

ADINA pre & post processors

ADINA pre & post processors

(OP)
Does anyone know of any third party pre and post processors for ADINA for structural applications? The pre/post processors that come with it are sub standard, and we would be interested in something like Hypermesh or ANSA.

RE: ADINA pre & post processors

I believe (90% sure) that HyperMesh has pre- and post-processing capabilities for ADINA.  I will check and see when I am next in my office (it will be a few days).

RE: ADINA pre & post processors

Apparently ADINA is not supported after all in HyperMesh. Sorry.

RE: ADINA pre & post processors

Adina may be pre- and postprocessed by MSC.Patran(http://www.adina.com/cadlink/patran.shtml).
To use MSC.Patran with ADINA you should purchase ADINA, MSC.Patran and so called "ADINA preference for MSC.Patran". The last one i think may be purchased from ADINA as well as MSC - contact representatives of the companies and they i guess will be happy to answer this question.

RE: ADINA pre & post processors

Does anybody know a code that can model the nonlinear behavior of unreinforced masonry?

RE: ADINA pre & post processors

You can also use SDRC I-Deas as a Pre/Post Proc for Adina.
It works well. You also need a license of transor from adina to enable the export/import/running of adina.
