Square-D SY/MAX system upgrade

(OP)
I'm currently working on an application where I will be replacing Square-D SY/MAX system.

My thoughts, is to use controllogix and communicate through modbus plus protocol using Prosoft MVI56-MBP which will communicate to Modicon BM85Y422 BridgeMux (Modbus Plus to SY/MAX gateway) across our SY/NET to the other SY/MAX processors.

Question: Has anyone done this before?

RE: Square-D SY/MAX system upgrade

Riptide,
Are you only replacing one processor at a time?

Take a look at this website for comm. modules for the Sy/Max
