I'm looking for a chip / Circuit that will take a composite Video signal in and give me a +5/-8V RGB + H&V Sync. Signals out. I'm sure it can be done rather inexpensively (no custom chips), but I'm not sure how!

RE: NTSC To RGB

I have already looked at the TDA3566A It would be perfect for what I'm doing, problem is Philps Discontinued that chip, and I haven't found a supplier that has them.

On Further searching I've found that every chip listed on these sites is out of production. I agree the single chip is the best Idea, but what are some current run solutions. I'm only looking @ 10-12 units max, so going to a wafer fab. plant for a rerun of discontinued chips is just not realistic in a cost/unit.
I need to plug a VCR/Cam Quarter into a 6" Sharp LQ6RA01 LCD. I've got the LCDs now I need to find out how to connect them.

RE: NTSC To RGB

Hi,

Sorry didn't bother to check if they were still in production. Mind you they still may be in stock in some old dusty shop somewhere.

A quick search, found the TDA3566A listed as a product on the links below. Whether they are still available you might want to email them & check for availabilty, cost & shipping  instruction etc.
