SQL error-handling

(OP)
Hi,

I am working with Sybase Database and want to copy a table from a runing database in a file. I do it as follows:

dbisqlc -q -c "uid=dba;pwd=sql; dsn=DSN_ODBC_NAME"; select * from TABLE_1; output to  c:\table_1.txt

It works properly. In case of a error(such as write protected drive) shows Interactive SQL a message. Because I use this command in another application(WINCC with C script) I would like to catch this error and produce a new user friendly message instead of original message.
How can I do it.

Thanks in advance,

parisi
