If you don't own a Unified Numbering System 10th ed, GET ONE. I have found that ASTM usually has the best price.

RE: Non-American Standards Equivalent to ASTM Standards
How about posting the titles of the ASTM standards so those of us who don't bother memorizing the numbers know what you are looking for?
RE: Non-American Standards Equivalent to ASTM Standards
Here are the equivalents:
ASTM D 256 --> ISO 180
D 395 --> ISO 815
D 412 --> ISO 37
D 624 --> ISO 34-1
D 638 --> ISO 527-1 & -2
D 790 --> ISO 178
D 1238 --> ISO 1183
D 2240 --> ISO 7619-1
ASTM D 383 does not exist. Did you forget a digit? You can obtain ASTM or ISO standards directly from ASTM or ISO respectively, or all of them from Global Engineering Documents.
