New designer looking for FAQ database

New designer looking for FAQ database

New designer looking for FAQ database

(OP)
I'm new to the wood truss design field (3 1/2 months)and often have questions about various topics. My company (so far, at least) has not put me through any type of training or classes on the subject- I was given a 'Getting Started" book and a PC. I have co-workers who are more than willing to help, but it's such a hassle to bother them about what I feel is elementary stuff. Is there a database out there containing basic design information that I could access when I have a question? For example: on a job I did recently, I failed to match fascia, mainly because I don't understand the how's and why's and the importance of it. I'm looking for a site that will allow me to research stuff like this. Any suggestions?

RE: New designer looking for FAQ database

Try woodtruss.com and look in education/training category
