How to trim texted words?

How to trim texted words?

How to trim texted words?

(OP)
There is a handle in front of a label which has logo, texted sentences. How to trim the text in the Front View, so that the hidden text will not be seen. I guess we may need change the texted sentences to single letters, so we can trim the hidden letters. But I still can't make it true in AutoCAD 2000.

Any ideas are wellcome!

RE: How to trim texted words?

You can put a 3D object in front of the text...and I think there are LISP routines out there to hide text - try a forum search for "hide text"

RE: How to trim texted words?

Use Text Mask in the Express Tools

Oh, thank IFRS. If i am design them in 3D, i'll try that way and using LISP. But, it's a little bit hard. Actually, my design is for 2D right now. I'll try Paddymac's "Express Tools". Thanks, guys.
