(OP)
I am looking into getting a FEA program, and I was looking at CosmosWorks.  I know that you can create anisotropic materials in CosmosWorks.  I want to model a pipe made of composite material.  Ez will be along the axis of the pipe.  Ey will be in a radial direction starting from the axis and going to the outside.  Ex will be tangent to the outside of the pipe.  Is something like this possible with CosmosWorks?  Is there a different program you would suggest for this type of feature?
