elastomer resisting to aeronautical fluids
elastomer resisting to aeronautical fluids
(OP)
Hello everybody
I'm looking for rubber tap (about 1mm thickness) that resists to greases and fluids referenced in MIL-G-81322, MIL-H-5606, MIL-L-8552, MIL-PRF-23827 (grease Aeroshell 33) and SKYDROL.
Do you know manufacturers able to provide such product?
Thank you

RE: elastomer resisting to aeronautical fluids
There is no single rubber for all the fluids. For instance, you use different O rings for skydrol than mineral oil.
If you come back with more information as to what you are trying to do, how much exposure to the fluids etc., you should be able to get some help.

I need to make skids at the interface between the panel and brackets of a nose landing gear to prevent aluminium parts from caulking. So the technical specification requires the resistence to quoted fluids in case of projection or sagging.
