Photoworks Glitch

Photoworks Glitch

Photoworks Glitch

(OP)
Just wanted let all of you know that I have stumbled across a glitch in Photoworks in the 2005 SP2.0 release.

When Photoworks is added in. You get an extra tab for Photoworks at the top of your feature tree. However if you split your feature tree you will see that the bottom feature manager tree does not display the photoworks tab. This was a problem for me because I must have split my feature manager tree and then just showed the bottom feature manager on one of my assemblies I was rendering. I could not figure out how to get the tab back until I ended up spliting the feature manager by mistake.

Just thought some of you may want to know this bug so you don't go crazy like I did.

Best Regards,
Jon

RE: Photoworks Glitch

I am not sure if this is just a glitch in 05 SP2.0.  I have seen it in other releases.

RE: Photoworks Glitch

This issue has been around for quite a while.

RE: Photoworks Glitch

I am having the same issue right now with an assembly file that I started using the Photoworks Rendering with. The file was looking alright but then somehow the Render Manager Tab has disappeared. I looked to see if it is in the split pane, but it is missing there as well. Other assemblies that I pull up seem to work fine. Any Ideas?

I would submit that problem to your VAR. Splitting the feature manager worked for me.

RE: Photoworks Glitch

Grab the bottom of the feature manager window and drag it to the top.  This should bring back the PW tab

RE: Photoworks Glitch

HEY GUYS,
THANKS FOR THE REPLIES. I FOUND THAT I HAD TO TURN OFF THE PHOTOWORKS ADD-IN, THEN SAVE THE FILE, REOPENED THE ASSEMBLY AND THEN READDED THE PW ADD IN. THE RENDER TAB DID NOT SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY, BUT BY DRAGGING THE SPLIT PANE IT WAS SHOWING UP ON THE BOTTOM PANE. GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME, I WILL REMEMBER THIS ONE AS WELL AS THE MANY OTHER TRICKS.
